NEUROLOGICAL INTEGRATION SYSTEM (NIS)

NIS is a system of investigation to both isolate and correct faults in the cellular signaling process derived from human neurological interaction – our action potential. The action potential is what enables our body to communicate to every cell, under the control of the brain.

Your brain is the coordinating centerpiece of our nervous system, conscious actions, thought processing, feelings and memories. In addition, it is responsible for automatic functions such as the heart, blood pressure, temperature, and breathing. Your sense of wellness is an expression of whether your brain is fully cognizant of all body systems.

Neuroplasticity explains how our most complex organ is capable of changing throughout our lives, & is the basis of how NIS works. This animation demonstrates how we all have the ability to change by ‘rewiring’ our brains.

Daily, we are exposed to different types of stresses. These can be physical, infections, emotional, and for the most part our bodies are designed to handle these.

There are times however where pressures become excessive to a point where our personal tolerances are challenged. At this point a disruption occurs in cellular signalling, and human function is altered. The Neurological Integration System (NIS) is then employed to ‘rewire’ and ‘reset’ the signal process.

Regardless of complaint, real causes can only be resolved when the neurological circuitry that governs ALL body function is considered. Only the brain knows WHY it occurs and how it can be rectified.

NIS is based on the neurophysiological principle that the brain determines optimum function of all body systems. The brain is the gateway to control the signal to every cell in the body.

From time to time these signals become overloaded (HOW?), and can in some cases become totally distracted.

Now potential function becomes reduced and symptom patterns can evolve. When this happens the brain no longer has full communication with the area of function represented by that signal.0

Although the brain is aware of the symptom pattern, it no longer has full control of the signal that represents the deeper underlying causes. Using the NIS system your practitioner looks for congruence between the BRAIN and certain neurological centers.

How?

To identify any ‘disengaged’ signals practitioners using the NIS system (a series of prioritized protocols) hold specific anatomical contact points and do a MUSCLE TEST to identify any issues that have been pushed past their tolerance levels.

Once identified they facilitate the BRAIN to re-set the circuitry in order for all the body systems to return to optimum potential – for that individual.

NIS gives YOU the tools to investigate and identify these causal issues for your patients using it’s proprietary treatment YOU become a facilitator in re-setting these neurological patterns, so that the brain can correct the underlying dysfunction.

NIS is not a technique

It is a system of prioritised treatment protocols that are applied with the patient in a pre-determined sequence. The essence of the NIS system, and what makes it very different from other modalities is that NIS does NOT:

  • involve the mind

  • require practitioner intent

  • require special diets

  • involve manipulation

  • require drugs

  • require homework

What happens during an NIS treatment?

During an NIS treatment your practitioner uses a muscle test* and runs though of series of checks (the NIS system). By contacting specific anatomical contact points** your practitioner is able to identify which signals between the neurology (brain) and physiology (body) are not getting through. These points are similar to those used in Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. For example your practitioner can access information about your liver gland, by contacting the meridian liver pulse on your left hand. Example 1

Our approach is unique in that we are accessing the intelligence of the brain through muscle testing and using these external anatomical contact points. We do not use any machines, manipulation, drugs/ medications, special diets, or exercises. When a disconnected signal is identified we use a method called integration*** and ‘tap’ a very specific area of the cranium so that the brain is able to restore the signal. Once this happens and communication resumes, the neurology (brain) is able to begin returning your physiology (body) back to its optimum function. Example 2 So in turn the symptom/s you are experiencing will begin to resolve.

* Muscle testing has been scientifically validated as an indicator of altered physiological function. D.A Monti, ET AL, 1999.

** We use the Meridian System, a proven series of anatomical contact points used in Chinese Medicine that enable access to glands, organs & muscles.

*** NIS is the proprietary research of Neurolink based on the neuro-scientific premise that collective stimulation of both hemispheres of the brain reinforces recognition of the contact points (meridians) being contacted at the time.

EXAMPLE I

The muscle test asks the question “is the signal between your liver and the brain getting through”?

If the muscle stays strong: The signal is fine, the liver is functioning as it should.

If the muscle goes weak: Then the signal is not getting through and your liver may not be functioning as well as it should.

A poorly functioning liver can cause a number of different issues…

Poor digestion – if your liver is unable to make the bile you need to digest food

Chronic fatigue – if your liver is unable to store iron you could feel tired and lethargic

EXAMPLE II

The practitioner uses the integration method so now when we muscle test.

The muscle stays strong: With a clear signal the brain can now go about restoring function to the liver. The action is immediate, but the resolution of your symptom/s can take up to 72 hours.
